Introduction

Hi there! My name is Jeremiah Daly, I am 11 years old, and I’m SO excited to share something special with you! I worked really hard to make this list of prayers that you can use every single day – like having little talks with God whenever you need Him.

There are prayers for when you’re feeling scared and need protection, or when you’re worried and need peace. Some are just happy prayers to tell God how awesome He is! I think praying is like holding God’s hand through your whole day – when you’re hungry, when you’re happy, even when you’re feeling kind of bad inside. I hope these prayers help you feel close to God like they help me!

Prayers For Daily Use

For Peace:

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

For Protection:

Michtam of David. Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.

For Guidance:

He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.

For Provision

¹¹Give us this day our daily bread.

¹²And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

Powerful Prayers

For Help:

Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.

For Mercy:

And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

For Strength:

Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

For Wisdom:

Prayers Word Definitions

For protection, to keep you, a family member, or friends safe.

For mercy, for forgiveness for something you have done or someone else has done.

For guidance, to guide you to be a good person and close to God.

For wisdom. to be smart so no one tricks you into doing bad things.

For provision, for daily food or clothing.

For help, if bad things have happened or if you do bad things.

For peace, so that no bad things happen or to keep you free from bad thoughts.
